The Candidate Transparency Amendment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To provide transparency in government, all candidates for federal offices must file a public copy of their three most recent annual tax filings or maximally comparable financial reporting, as well as clear descriptions of any and all debts, at the time of filing their candidacy or acceptance of nomination for office. Failure to do so causes them to be ineligible to hold any office.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Privacy is a good thing, but there must be balance.
