{"id":428,"date":"2026-01-20T18:18:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-21T02:18:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kaser.com\/BlogicallyYours\/?p=428"},"modified":"2026-01-20T18:18:14","modified_gmt":"2026-01-21T02:18:14","slug":"power-immunity-benefits-amendment-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/kaser.com\/BlogicallyYours\/2026\/01\/20\/power-immunity-benefits-amendment-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Power, Immunity, Benefits \u2013 Amendment 4"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Too many politicians want to strip Americans of their social benefits, benefits which THEY pay for through their taxes, while the politicians get far better benefits which they&#8217;ve voted for themselves and their successors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>The Equal Benefits Amendment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All persons elected or appointed to public office shall participate in the same retirement and health benefit programs as all other citizens, and shall receive no additional retirement or health benefits at government expense.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If politicians are forced to participate in the same health and retirement programs as everyone else, with no sweetheart deals just because they managed to get elected to do a job, then they&#8217;ll be far less likely to strip the rest of the population of <em>their<\/em> benefits.
